CHANDELIER REWIRING

We rewire any chandeliers big or small whether they have been bought from an auction, or antique shop or been failed by an electrician.

Many chandeliers that are sold secondhand are imported from America and Europe. Hence, the wiring is rarely earthed and is illegal to install and if installed is likely to cause a fire.

All finished work is PAT tested and British components are used.

We have a variety of different lamp holders and candle tubes to choose from, and many different color antique silk braided cables which always enhance the look of a light fitting. Whether you choose a traditional brown or gold that blends in with the surroundings or a bright contemporary color that stands out the choice is yours.

The lead time for chandelier restoration is around 2-3 weeks but we always work with the customer if the light is needed more urgently for installation.

LAMP REWIRING

We can rewire almost all light fittings wall lights, standard lamps, etc modern or vintage. We are a small lighting rewiring, restoration and maintenance company in East Sussex.

We work with many private customers whether you have purchased an old light from an antique shop or a local auction we can fully restore the electrics and PAT test for you. We also work with Interior designers on small and large projects to get the illumination that is needed in the right environment.

Many of our customers are people who come across problems when buying chandeliers and lamps from antique shops and auction houses as many of these outlets sell lighting with US or continental wiring which is dangerous and often completely unusable or has serious earthing issues or quite commonly no earth at all. We can wire lighting for most countries with all our work meeting the regulations and correct components. All of our components are made in England and are of very high quality.

Most electricians will not want to touch a chandelier table lamp or wall light as this is often out of their comfort zone and specialist and special tools are required to gain access through tricky chandelier arms and lamp bases.

We mainly refurbish the electrics on fittings but we also polish metals to a high-shine finish, repair metalwork, and carry out various colored finishes. We can also convert most objects, Sculptures, artwork, Oil lamps, and vases into Electric lamps.

We can wire lighting for most countries with all our work meeting the regulations and correct components. All of our components are made in England and are of very high quality.
